WELCOME TO BLACK POWDER FARM

Puppy Sale!!!

Hi, friends!
Because our girls cycle together, we have so many puppies right now and we're motivated to get them into good homes before fall! If you've every considered taking home a Rhodesian Ridgeback puppy, now might be the time! We have some absolutely gorgeous puppies, including a litter with Tzeitel and Timka (our dark red Ukranian and Russian imports) that we've waited for over two years for. Please contact us if you are interested in a pup and we will do everything we can to make it work. You are welcome to come out and meet the pups in person, or we can send you videos, or even Facetime (though our reception here can make that hit or miss)

**while we love meeting your animals, please do not bring any dogs with you because our dogs are all quarantined and tested before they are allowed to socialize with our general population.

Check out our new Facebook page to see recent photos, reviews, updates, and much more. Thanks for visiting!

Black Powder Farm has been a 114-acre farm in SE Kansas, owned by Greg and Lynn Stewart, and moved to SW Missouri in late 2020. We are now located just east of Springfield, MO on a beautiful 117 acre farm, at the end of a dead end road. We have owned Rhodesian Ridgebacks for over 25 years and have been raising them since about 2007. We are now on our fourth generation of Rhodesian Ridgebacks. Our puppies are born on our property and are lovingly socialized with adults and children, other dogs and farm animals. We believe dogs should have the freedom to be dogs, and our dogs are part of the family.

If you are looking to add a wonderful new Rhodesian Ridgeback puppy to your family, please check out our Current Litters or visit our Facebook page

***My original Facebook was recently hacked (July 2023) and I was taken off as Admin. At this time I have no way to access it or get it back. I have created a new one and am in the process of shutting the old one down (as of August 2025), so if you find the page running weird videos--that's not me!***

"We picked up our Henley on December 1, 2019. From beginning to end it was a fantastic experience. All of our questions were answered and we felt very comfortable leaving with our little guy! Highly recommend!" - Susan Caire Brady, 1/28/2019
